Blaze will not charge on my Macbook

I'm really disappointed with Fitbit. I bought a Blaze last November and a month later my pink band changed color. Customer Service sent me a label to send it back and the whole exchange took almost a month.  It would have been great if the supposedly new one I received worked but it did not.  I emailed to complain and this time, the exchange arrived pretty quickly and I was asked to recycle the defective one. Great I thought, Fitbit listened after I complained that they used snailmail the 1st time.

When that last one arrived,  I made sure I inspected it and realized that just like the previous one, this newly arrived one was also a refurbished. I charged it with a usb before setting it up and it worked. Well I told myself, unlike the other one, this one's working! That is until I tried to charge it on my computer. I left it overnight and nothing happened. I thought it was the charger so I left it all day yesterday on the charger for the defective one. Nothing happened! The battery is still dead.

Has anyone in this forum had that kind of problems?

A warm welcome to the Community @Bonbon2 and sorry to hear about the inconveniences you experienced with previous trackers. I recommend taking a look at this post, where you will be able to see some instructions to follow to fix this issue.

I hope this helps, let me know the outcome. Woman Happy

@Bonbon2 by any chance do you have a phone or iPad? If so I suggest using their charger to charge your Blaze.

Most computers will stop charging the Blaze when the computer turns off. Also dep nine what else is plugged in, the Mac might not have enough power to charge the Blaze fast enough.

Thanks for the suggestion Alejandra! My Fitbit was clean before charging and beside after I left it all night and all day connected to my Mac I was able to charge it with my iPad USB wall charger. However, like another poster suggedted I will restart the Blaze before I try to charge it next time. Thanks!
