We've had Charge HRs for some time and didn't have problems syncing them with our old phones (Galaxy S5s). We recently upgraded our phones to the S7 (my daughter) and the S7 Edge (me). We had no problems syncing our Charge HRs with the new Galaxy S7s. Today, I bought a Fitbit Blaze and have been trying to sync it with my S7 Edge for many, many hours with no luck. The 16 year old daughter assumed I was just being incompetent and took over. She tried to sync it with my phone, her phone (the Galaxy S7) and with my old phone, the Galaxy S5. No luck with any of the phones. The Blaze took a long time for the initial update (about 2 hours) but did eventually boot up. The screens all look fine and it's counting steps but it won't transfer the information. We have restarted all of the phones and the Blaze with no luck. My daughter is convinced that the Blaze is defective but I thought I'd check and see if anyone has any ideas before we return it.

The cars BT should not affect this, since out like the Blaze is a receiver. Think of it as every receiver can attach to a BT sender/hub/phone, but a receiver can only connect to one sender.

i had the exact same problem, but it was solved. It wasn't complicated, but there were several steps to take in order for my GS7 messages to be read on my blaze. You can search for the words "galaxy S7 fitbit blaze solved" for a step by step.
From what I remember: Once you have the fitbit app and have already done the initial sync... you have to go into setting, (allow the phone to sync to the blaze), then go to settings on your phone, then click applications on the phone, then click on the messenger application and allow notifications and popups. Then go to the fitbit application on your phone and click on the blaze icon. Under general settings you'll see call and text notifications. Choose the one that you are using, messenger, messenger +, or hangouts. Then enable the widget notification and your phone should ask you if you want to sync (Yes, again, this is a differnt sync then the origial sync which is why I was so confussed.)
I really hope this was not too confussing. Again, This phone will read messages and works just fine with the blaze.
Best of luck everyone!!!

I'm having the same problem. My Blaze worked fine with my Galaxy s5, but won't sync with my S7.
