Blaze will only update and sync via chord

Hello,

I hope someone here might help me find a solution.

My father owns a Blaze that has recently stopped all updates and syncs via bluetooth. I'm writing on his behalf and I'm not sure if he has done anything to any of the settings. Everything seems to be in order. From what i understand, the watch ran out of battery and after charging, it was two hours behind and wouldn't sync with the phone (runs on android). I managed to sync it on a laptop via its charger but it still won't work via bluetooth on either device. I've already tried reinstalling the app, resetting the watch and turning it off. The bluetooth does seem to work on the watch, because I can find it with my phone.

Any ideas would be very welcome. A great many thanks!

Awesome troubleshooting

If not already done,  feel free restarting the phone.

Feel free to clear the Fitbit App cache on the phone, all the data stays intact, the fitbit app will recreate the cache when syncing with the account.

Sometimes installing new app updates over existing ones, while using the cache for the previous app version(s).. can cause bugs / glitches.. like a app not loading, or crashing..

Thank you for the advice. I have restarted the phone and cleared the cache. Sadly, still nothing. I have also unpaired it from the laptop and paired it again. The laptop says it's connected to the device but the fitbit app can't find it.

Other ideas ?

I would turn the phone off if it is nearby, if the Blaze is connected to the phone, the computer will. It be able to talk to it. This is a limitation of Bluetooth.
