Hi all,
I haven't used my blaze in over a year and now when I've put it on charge it's not charging at all. I had it on charge over night and woke up in the morning and it was still on the lowest battery...i.e. remove from charger and it would die...help??? I would rather not get a new one...this was bought new and I barely got to use it much before I couldn't wear it...any advice would be much appreciated! Thank you.

Hi
Depending on where the tracker has been purchased, there can be up to two year of warranty. America mostly gives one year of warranty while Europe can give two years of warranty.
If the tracker not able to do anything when done everything in the fitbit article: Why isn't my battery charging?
Hi
Are you able to charge the tracker with the computer turned on?
The computer can be configured, so after a while it goes in sleep/standby mode, turning off power to the usb ports as well, leading to a connected device not being charged.
Best AnswerSet it into the charger cradle connected to a DC charger PLUGGED INTO A POWER CORD, NOT A COMPUTER'S USB PORT! and leave it for a good hour or so. Don't touch it, don't try to start it. After an hour, remove it and do a hard reset (hold the left button and lower right button together for 10 secs until the FitBit logo appears). See if that gets you back up and running. Computer USB ports sometimes do not have the juice to get the device to recognize and accept the charge current.

Hi,
As I mentioned, I've had it plugged in the charger to a USB plug...the same kind you would use for your phone. That is connected to the mains. It's not charging at all. Every time I take it out of the cradle it powers down completely. It's not holding any charge. Is it fixable? Please advise, thank you.

Mine won't charge either. Everything was fine then... poof. Nothing. I cleaned the contacts, reset the Blaze twice, and tried connecting the cradle three different ways. Is there any way to see if the cradle itself is broken? Otherwise, not sure what to do... 😞

Best AnswerThanks!!
I turned off by Bluetooth so the notifications from my phone would STOP.
Then I simply held the left & top right until it vibrated. Then held the left & bottom right until it vibrated.
Placed on charger and it starting charging!!
Thanks!!
Thanks for the hard reset tip - that did the trick. My Blaze died overnight and would not charge at all, connected to a wall socket. Had to put the tracker back into the frame for it register the hard reset properly, don't think I could get sufficient pressure on the buttons when it was out of the frame. will be storing this tip away, because my tracker is getting on in years and is getting a bit flaky, am sure that I will need to use it again. ![]()
Best AnswerI couldn’t get my Fitbit blaze to charge. I read this thread and after holding down the left and lower right buttons it powered on!!!! WOO HOO Thank you!!
I had two Fitbit charges and now have a Fitbit Blaze. But the first one received the other by gifts from folks who pitied me and my frustration with Fitbit. All three did this within the first 30 days after the warranty ended. Yup contacted support "so sorry" and little else was their response. Yup playing with the lower left and right buttons coaxed a little life for a little while but in the end I believe that the Fitbit product is pretty much junk with a deliberate planned obsolescence plan in place. Like so many other l
things in life you get what you pay for. So my advice is next time skip Fitbit, pay just a little more to someone who prioritized customer success. Good luck!
