I was having trouble with my blaze, and fitbit graciously sent me a "new" one. The battery on this one is awesome, but I've had nothing but problems otherwise. The biggest problem is that it will not connect to my phone for GPS during runs. (This is the reason I purchased this specific watch!!!!) It is syncing just fine AT THE SAME TIME, but cannot connect. I will try time after time and still no connection. The few times when it finally does connect, it will disconnect within 5 minutes of starting my run...while my phone is in the same hand of my watch. These are the same runs I've been doing for a year and I never had this problem once with my old blaze (but it had battery issues). I've tried all the hints on here, plus I turn off my wifi and that doesn't help either. Blaze and phone are up to date. Then, it will randomly shut down in the middle of runs. Luckily, the runs are somewhat tracked (with HR and steps mind you), so the run is not totally lost, but I have to wait to reboot to get it going again. This is so frustrating. I'm going to switch back to my old watch which only held charge for 18 hours.

So I had the same exact issue recently and tried a few different things. 1. I always have my phone on power save mode so I turned that off. 2. I have a Samsung galaxy 7 edge that has always on display so I turned that on. I'm not sure which one did it, I think both because you can't have always on display with power saving. Try having the display of your phone sceen turned on alwags and that may do the trick!

Thank you for that suggestion. I have an iphone and I don't think that will help since most of the time I can't even get it to connect when I have it open and syncing with the app, but I'll sure give it a try.

If your tracker isn't connecting to your phone's GPS, I recommend taking a look at the My Blaze GPS is not working post and follow the instructions provided there.
