@Bikeracer your describing a common limitation of almost any Bluetooth receiver, souch as your tracker. A receiver is only able to connect to one server at a time. If connected to the ipad it won't connect to a second device. This would be the same for a BT headphone or speaker, keyboard, or mouse. OK there is an examption, ive seen BT soeakers with 2 BT channels, you may hook these up to two different devices, but it still is one channel per device.

I am joining in on this thread and will follow it to see what ends up happening.
My old iPhone 6+ went bad I giot a new one and I am trying to sync the new phone with my existing tracker and it won't see it on bluetooth either 😞
Is there an existing issue in customer service DB? I hve restarted phone and reinstalled app
** I just read some notes in Customer Service and it seems that there is still a "Bluetooth bond" with the old phone. However my old phone has been wiped out and no longer even sees my Blaze. Is this "bond" stored somewhere within my account that I can erase it?

This recommendation finally worked for me - after trying to find and pair for over an hour, the reinstalling the app and pairing worked - thanks for the info!

@waynehazle about your old phone.
For your Blaze to be bonded,
The phone needs be:
-Within 30 feet
-Turned on
-Bluetooth on
-In the Bluetooth settings the Blaze needs to be a saved device.
If any of the above is false, then the Blaze is not bonded to the old phone.
If the phone atill works, then go into its Bluetooth settings and remove the tracker from there. This is how to permanently unbind a bluetooth device.

I found out that the set up does work from the computer. Download the Fitbit app to your iphone first. Setup your Fitbit account then do the setup and pairing from the phone not the computer.

Sometimes a restart or a shutdown of the computer is phone is needed.
Please remember you do not and ate unable to pair your tracker to the phone or PC, you need to connect the tracker to your Fitbit account through the Fitbit software/app, then let the Fitbit do the Pairing to the phone /PC

At what step of the setup process does it fail?
Does the app find your Blaze?
Do you get a 4 digit code?
Are you able to add the code to the app?
What happens then?

On your Fitbit Blaze, go to Settings, Bluetooth Classic, switch that on and then try to pair your phone with the Blaze and the option to pair with Blaze (Classic) should appear and that is the device you choose to pair with.

The Classic Blaze is only used for controlling music, not syncing.
