Blaze won't restart on new day

I turned off my watch yesterday for Bed and I had 4,900 steps and 2,500+ calories burned. When I turned it on this morning, it still had the same amount of everything when I turned it off yesterday. The Fitbit app on my phone never restarted everything to 0. I restarted my watch, the app.... I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. It's not working like it suppose to. I wanted to work out today but now I have to put that on hold. Any suggestions? This is the first time this has happened to me.

Hi, @DarkHalo, this sometimes can happen if your Blaze is switched off at midnight, so that it does not receive the signal to reset.

Unfortunately when this does happen there is not a solution other than to wait until the next midnight, when it should reset as normal.

If you do receive a false badge, you may contact Fitbit and have it removed.

That is ridiculous!  I have shut my Blaze down at night a lot and have never had this problem other than today.

It's great to have you here @SunsetRunner! I'm sorry for the issue you've had with your Blaze not resetting at midnight. This shouldn't be happening, I would like you to double check the following as this may be the reason why this can be happening:

- Your timezone didn't change (like travelling)

- Did you update your firmware version?

- Did you manually log any activity

In order to fix this, you may want to log driving as an activity during the hours that you have wrong steps and restart the tracker to make sure this doesn't happen again.

Keep me posted.

The only thing that fixes this is the beginning of a new day. So tomorrow morning when you wake up, try syncing and it will be fixed. Yes it sucks but it's only happened to me twice since I've owned the watch and I've had it for a year and a half now. Fitbit is really good about constantly updating their products and I am feeling like this won't happen again to me any time soon (fingers crossed).
