My fitbit blaze buttons do not work. The swipe screen only shows the list of features. It will not sync. I cannot access the settings. I have tried all the suggested turn on turn off procedures and it has not worked.

My Blaze just started doing the same thing this morning. Unable to swipe screens, no response from buttons etc, not able to sync with phone anymore either, so unable to record runs. Does detect heart rate and steps but doesn't share the data. Is there a fix?

No response yet - I was hoping someone would have information.

In my case, I just needed to hold the buttons longer when trying to restart
my fitbit. Guess I was too quick. Try the online chat, if you can't restart
it. Good luck.

AT LAST - for anyone else suffering with this frustrating problem. No button pressing would work. No access to the menus meant I could not shut it down and do a hard reboot of the software on this thing. However - a simple solution that was just mentioned to me has done the trick. It was suggested I connect the fitbit in its charging cradle to the laptop and not just to a socket. When I did this and it was fully charged - while it was still in its cradle it gave me access to the menus and swipe of the screen. This meant I was able to get to the setting menu and access the shutdown. Which I have done. So just waiting a while now before rebooting. Hoping this will sort out the buttons working and free access to swipe and tap on the screen. Plug it into the laptop or computer and see if that helps.
