Blaze won't sync and cannot be re-added after Android upgrade to 9.0 (Pie)

Dear support,

my Nokia 8 was just upgraded to Android 9.0 (Pie) and since then wasn't able to sync with blaze.

I deleted the blaze from the Fitbit app and tried to add it again but the app tells me that there was an error and leaves me with the options "cancel" and "restart Bluetooth" eventhough I can see in the background, that the blaze was found. This will force the app to ignore the blaze and start all over.

I restarted Bluetooth, soft reseted the phone, cleared the Bluetooth storage and cache from the system itself but nothing works.

Thanks in advance

I just repeated the steps above but this time I also removed the blaze from "formerly known devices" from the Bluetooth menu.

I also connected the blaze to another phone (iPhone 6) and it said it made an update on the blaze. After that, I tried it on my android and the crash did not appear.

Anyway, it took me three retries to actually connect the blaze again to my android.
