My Blaze will not sync. Been going on for a day now. I have done everything. Unpaired and paired again with bluetooth. Shutdown the tracker and reset it. Tried adding the device again, but it won't let me. It's connected to my Bluetooth but with not sync. Help!!!

Did your FitBit app update yesterday? Mine did and it hasn't been syncing correctly since. I moved all 12 hours yesterday and the watch said that too but the app wouldn't sync properly and only said i moved 9 out of 12 hours.

Hi Both.

Did you both turn off your mobiles and turn back on again/ ie a phone restart? It often helps after an app update.

Mine is better at synching following the update

Its happened to me from time to time. I have tried various things like reset and un-paring etc. Eventually it does work. When all else failed I unpaired the Blaze and phone, and removed the blaze completely and set it up as if it was a new one. All my stuff from previous was there when it got re-paired etc.

Me too. I only bought the Blaze so when we're on  holiday and out walking and cycling it would connect to phone GPS and record routes and pace. No chance - I've spent more time trying to connect than actually exercising. So frustrated with it now 😞

Welcome to the Community @RADRACH82@caroak33@afeag@Fosgran and @Ib80! Thanks for the details that you've mentioned. In this case, I would like you to make sure that you did this syncing troubleshoot in order to get your tracker synced with your information.

Also, if you're having issues with connected GPS please double check that you're following this steps Connected GPS Information Post. Are you getting any error message that's not letting you connect your Blaze?

Let me know how it goes. Keep me posted.

Ok I've tried absolutely everything to fix it because I'm having the same issue today. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app, unpaired the watch, turned off blue tooth, restarted the phone and the watch, literally everything and nothing is fixing this little sync issue. It only started with the update the other day...

@JennaJ I'm more confused, have you tried shutting both the phone and Blaze completely off, thus doing a hardware and not a software restart?

When you say unpaired the watch, does that mean you removed it from the phones Bluetooth settings screen, removing it from the app will only remove it from your Fitbit account, and give more peoblems, but will not unpair it from the phone.

If on android have you cleared the Bluetooths cache?

Is there any other device you ever have synced through still nearby and turned on?

Have you tried through both wifi and cellular if on android.

I have turned off both the phone and the watch. I followed everything FitBit has offered to help fix it and nothing.

You turned both of them off through their shutdown menus?

Removed the tracker from the phones Bluetooth settings screen?

Removed any other device the tracker has synced through at least 30 feet away or turned its Bluetooth off?

If Android have you cleared the Bluetooths cache?

I have had nothing but problems with the blaze not syncing. Did everything four five times, pair, delete app, re-install app, etc. I track my efforts and compete against several friends, it's irritating that it won't keep track of my efforts. About ready to get rid of it and go back to an iWatch

Mine finally worked after almost a week

I've been fighting with mine for almost a month. It took me at least 40 tries to get it to sync the 1st time; turning bluetooth on/off, resetting blaze, uninstall/reinstall app, & all combinations of those, etc. My phone (Samsung note 4) links with every other device with no problem. Now it quits syncing at least 2X a week & then takes at least a day to reconnect. Worse, it displays the wrong time while not connected. I'm over it. It's a profoundly flawed product & worse than worthless to me.
