Blaze won't turn on and no green lights on the back

When I put my Blaze on the charging dock it turns on and shows a full battery, time and date, and then the screen turns black. When I take it off of the charger it does nothing. The screen won't turn on and the HR monitor on the back is not flashing. I have tried resetting it and my fitbit will not do anything. I had only used it for a few months and it was working perfectly. I haven't used it in almost a year because I had packed it away when we moved. My computer is able to sync and detect it, but my watch is not responding to anything. Has anyone else have this problem?? Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the Community Forums @zhycastillo89. I'm sorry for the late response. Thanks for letting us know about your Blaze's behavior. 

I'd recommend to restart your device by following the steps below:

1. Press and hold the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
2. Let go of the buttons.

Also, I recommend following the instructions provide in the help articles Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging? or Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?

Did you ever get a resolution on this problem? I have the exact same symptoms, except my computer does not recognize the device. Mine was also packed away. It worked at that time. Now it doesn't. Shows full battery when on charger. Goes blank when you take it out. Reset doesn't fix it. No lights flashing on the back.

I never did!:( I just came to the conclusion it was broken and ended up
purchasing a new one.

I am still having the same problem too. Blaze lights up when charging and is full charged but once taken out of the charger.. nothing. Clearly it is not broken as it is still charging. When will FITBIT provide a real solution?

I’m having the exact same issue and Fitbit support chat was no use at all. 

Chatted for 30 minutes for them to say that they have exhausted all options so they will send an email regarding warranties but mine will be out of warranty now

Same issues here also. My blaze turned black last night and won’t do anything. I’ve tried to reset it and nothing. I am so sad about this…

my blaze was purchased Dec 2016 so it’s about due.

Hello @Vikfam and welcome to the Community.  Rechargeable batteries have an estimated lifespan of 3-5 years or so.  I think your battery is at it's end of life.

Hello! I am having the same challenge. My FitBit will show a full battery and sync with my phone while on the charger, but as soon as I remove it from the charger, the screen goes black and it unsyncs. I tried pushing the two buttons while it was in the charger and it showed me the battery full sign, but nothing else happened. Do you have any other ideas of how to get it to work?
