Blaze won't work out of charger

My brand new blaze 2 is set up - fully charged - but will not work out of the charger.

it is blank when taken out of charge. No clock face.

everything works only when in charger cradle.

my phone has latest update. Fitbit latest update installed. 

Any ideas??

Try a restart. Do it at least 5  times.
