Hi I got a fitbit blaze for Christmas and I've synched it to my phone then it came up telling me it needed a soft wear update and that the battery was low. Ive tried charging the battery but no charging symbol appears. When I try and update I keep getting an error message. Dashboard says battery full. Screen continues to say fitbit.com/setup.

Close the app completely and restart the app and it will finish setting up

When you see the www.fitbit.com/setup message, the only way to tell that it is charging is tgatbtge unit will do a quick buzz when plugging in. There will not but a battery meter.
Charge it for 30 minutes and Con iinue the setup.
Use your phones charger

It'd all sorted now, I uninstalled fitbit app and started over and then the update installed and battery is showing as 3/4 full. Thanks for the tips

Hi, mine's doing the same thing. I'm very disappointed that I'm seeing this is ongoing for over two years, at least. Why is this company still putting out a defective product? I might be willing to attempt a replacement, but I'm not certain it's worth the risk. I will be researching alternative products.

My tracker buzzed when i plugged it into my phone charger.
I have deleted and re installed the app.
Its still saying tracker is low, and will not update.
Feeling pretty bummed

Ok, tried all laptop usb ports, all mobile chargers, and...nothing...

Still same. All different chargers and ports. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Only thing, is I can't reset the tracker. Pressing the two buttons at the same time does nothing....so frustrated

I Had the same problem with the Blaze not charging and the screen said fitbit.com/setup. I called the support center and a woman tried to help, but her english was very broken and she finally said that until the unit was charged it would not complete the set up. My husband went to Wal-Mart and bought a USB charger with a high speed USB port, ANKER PowerPort2 with Quick Charge 3.0. He plugged the fitbit charging unit into the high speed port and it charged up in under an hour. After it charged the Android phone was able to connect and complete the process. We had already added the fitbit App to the Galaxy 6 phone and now the Blaze works fine.

After doing everything e.g uninstalling app etc. I left the tracker "charging" with the idea of taking it back to the store next morning. Lo and behold, next morning the battery was full and I could complete the setup 😁 Works fine now. Thanks for all the advice!
