I just took my Fitbit blaze out of the box. I push the button to turn it on and nothing happened. I figured the battery was dead and started charging it. Impatiently waiting, I tried to power it on after 30 minutes of charging - Nada. Is there something I'm doing wrong? I don't even have a battery icon. Now the screen just blinks from time to time with nothing on it. What should I do?

@LorrieAshly, if your Blaze is turning on you will see http//:www.fitbit.com/setup and correct you'll see no bsttery.

OK let's double check the blaze is in with the contacts longed up.. Then check and make sure it's plugged into some place with power, a phone charger or USB port.
Now if for some reason the battery is very dead then yes it might take an hour or more to turn on. This depends on how strong the power supply is..
I really suggest using the phone charger.
