when a call is blocked on my android phone (on my block list), my phone blocks the call normally but my Blaze continues to vibrate (call notification) even though the call has been blocked/ended. would this be an issue with my call blocker app or is this something about the Blaze notification? bug or feature?
thanks

It's great to see you around @stevetreb. Are you using an app to block a number or are you doing this directly from your phone? If you are using an app, I recommend doing this directly from your phone. In the meantime, you can also try @MarreFitbit's instructions in the My tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android Fitbit app) post.
Let me know how it goes.

it's an app on my phone that automatically blocks numbers that are on my blacklist. (mr. number btw is the app). not sure why the link to a thread about not getting notifications, what does that have to do with blocked calls coming thru? can you re-read my post about what the specific problem is? the app on my phone blocks the call, but my fitbit keeps vibrating as if the phone is still ringing.

How does the phone Blocker app work?
Some intercept the call before the Phones Call App gets it, your dialer program never sees or its history will never show it.
Some blocker apps intercept the notifacation from the call app and don't let it be displayed. These apps may not keep the Fitbit app from receiving the notifacation.
True caller, a third party replacement calling app displays the number followed by Call Blocked on the screen, vibrates the phone but doesn't ring. The tracker displays the number, and would normally not display the "Call Blocked" message.
To get it to display i disabled the caller id, then used the extended notification to look at True Caller, now i see the number followed by call blocked.
What im saying is that this has more to do with what path things happen within your OS and not Fitbit.
You might want to contact yhe author of the blocking app, they would have a better idea of how the app works yhen one of us. We dont know which one of the many blocking apps on the market your using. We are not sure of which phone you have. It is not a Windows phone
