Bluetooth 4.0 Connected GPS

I had an LG G4 which was a phone listed for the Blaze but it worked fine and I could connect GPS, get notifications and control the music.

The LG G4 ended up in some water and died. I have since got a temporary phone a Chinese model which is the Ulefone Power. This phone is fine and will put me on except the Fitbit aspect. I realised it wasn't listed but then again my LG one wasn't. The Bluetooth said it was 4.0 but low energy so should work with wearables.

The Fitbit syncs fine. It has just done a firmware update fine from the Ulefone However it just won't fire the connected GPS. I will forego the notifications but as a runner I really need GPS. I have locations services on. I am really hoping I am doing something silly instead of the phone never being able to connect to the Blaze for GPS?

The first thought I have is that for the GPS top work the notifications on the Blaze have to be enabled.
First thing to do is swipe down on the clock screen and make sure notifications are on.

Yes it syncs normally but I just can't get it to work the connected GPS. From looking at this forum it looks like I'm not the only one. The huawei phoned also seem to have a problem.

Hello @pf2303, is your phone been tested as being compatable

Remember even if it isnt, that doesnt mean that it won't work.

Thanks for your reply.

I received my Ulefone Power 2 and it is fully compatible with my Blaze.

It wasn't mentioned in the compatibility section but all works well. Even better than my old LG Stylus.
