I am trying to connect my brand new fitbit blaze with my moto x pure 2015 running Android 6.0. every time I go into the Bluetooth settings I am able to find blaze(classic) but when I try pairing I get the error message that the blaze has worn pin/passcode and the phone was unable to pair. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have tried power cycling both the phone and the blaze.

Hello @PColeman welcome to the Blaze family! 😉 Are you still having trouble setting up your tracker? If you're receiving an "Incorrect Pin or Password" error, chances are you're trying to set up your tracker using Bluetooth settings instead of the Fitbit app. Please try setting up your tracker as instructed here

What type of device are you trying to pair the Bluetooth Classic to,.

Droid turbo 2. It shows the blaze (classic) in my Bluetooth but gives me a error message saying unable to pair due to a wrong passcode

You need to accept the pin in the Blaze Classic first, then the phone.

But you say it doesn't show up on the Blaze.

Have you tried a restart of the Blaze yet? Hold both the Left and lower Right buttons in.

I am having a similar issue. I had to get a new phone. I synced the new phone with the FitBit. All my progress is tracked as it should be. I am unable connect to Bluetooth for my notifications and music. When I go to bluetooth on my phone it finds my Blaze (classic), when I hit pair I get the incorrect passcode or pin error message?

Did you ever find an answer to your question? I have a new phone and I have the SAME question.

@MoparGirl what phone do you have.

If the tracker is syncing then the notification channel is working, it uses the BTLE that sync uses.

On ios the standard Bluetooth is not used at all.

I have a Droid Turbo 2. I was on the phone with tech support for over 2 hours. We had to delete the Blaze from my Fitbit app and re-install it. EVERYTHING works, music, calls, Facebook etc EXCEPT text messaging. They are supposed to be checking with warranty info and see if it is still covered. We went thru EVERY notification and task ON the phone but NOTHING helped.
Thank you for taking the time to respond to my cry for "HELP", LOL

Exact same issue for me. New Blaze device and a Droid Turbo 2.  Everything works on the app and device through the regular app set-up connection with the exception of music control.  The app explains what to do to connect with Blaze(Classic) but when I try I get the error that everyone else hear reports.

I have tried to remove the Blaze from the app and start from scratch with Blaze(Classic) only and it never works. The fitbit app always connects in the non Classic connection.

Would really like to control the music from the watch. Its a pain to have to pull out my phone while running.

There are two issues mentioned above.

Issue one tracker wont display pin

Different issue number two, phone rejects setting up.

When the pin is shown on both the tracker and the phone,  press the ok first on the tracker, then on the phone.

As for the pin not showing up on the tracker, this makes no sense to me (ive even connecte the Blaze to my Kindle). It connects to the phone as a standard input controller, nothing really different here.

I wasn't doing it right. Go to your music app turn it on first, then do the steps. The code came up then.

@princesstissue "not a go" doesn't give much info.

Yea, I did. I am using Pandora so I opened it first. I wasnt doing that before. Then I went to pair the classic. It popped a code up then after I did that on my Fitbit.

I have to approve on the tracker first, then the phone.

After Pandora is playing what do go get on the tracker.
