Brand new Blaze wont charge

Hello, So tonight I upgraded from a Charge HR to the Blaze, however I seem to be having the same problem that others are having and nothing is working for me. When I go to update it it says that the battery doesnt have enough to charge so I have put it on different chargers for different amounts of time and still not charged at all.

I have uninstalled the program on my computer and reinstalled it.

I even took the first one back to the store and the 2nd one is doing the same thing.

Ideas or suggestions??

Thank you!

I am having the exact same problem.  I am trying to set up a new Blaze for the first time but the blaze will not charge up and stay on.  My desktop application says that Blueetooth is turned off but my settings show that Bluetooth is turned on.  Also , the charging contacts inside the charging frame look like they may not be pressing firmly against each other ?  Who knows the answer to this problem ?

I would use the phones charger.

When you plug the Blaze in you are looking to feel a slight vibration, if you feel a second vibration or no vibration the tracker is not charging.

Once you have confirmed that the Blaze is charging, open the app and proceed to fix is the update.

Not sure what you mean by charging your Blaze Fitbit Watch with a phone charger. Are you saying that instead of plugging the USB watch cable in to the USB port on my desktop computer, I should plug the USB watch cable in to an adabter which then plugs in to a wall outlet, but is this safe for the watch and why would the fitbit company not recommend this.

Same problem here. Brand new blaze straight from the package, no charge. I've tried both USB  port and mobile charges to no avail. Is any one from the fitbit team to help?

Exactly, a 5 volt usb source is a 5 volt source it. Just like you can plug the phone into the computer to charge.

A computer should work but some when they go to sleep stop charging the tracker,  Some laptops are underpowered and simply can not provide enough power to charge the tracker in a reasonable time.
