Call notifications but no message notifications

I have followed all the official FitBit tutorials and hve had the chat helpdesk walk me through a fix as well, but I am having troubles.

I get notification of an incoming call and am able to control the music on my phone, but that is all. 

I do not get e-mail or text notifications. I also do not get notification of a missed call. My phone indicates that there is a missed call, but FitBit says: "All caught up! No notifications" My phone is set up so that my lock screen recieves notifications, but they are not being transferred to my phone.

Any suggestions as to why my phone and tracker are only partially working together?

EDIT: Solved it, I am silly. Your phone can't be on silent for notifications to work.

Lets see if i understand.

Call notification comes through.

As for missed calls, this wont show on the Blaze,. The call notification  should have told you a call was missed.

As for calender,  email, and text, first thing is to make sure the right apps are selected in the Fitbit. Second is to make sure you are able to see these notifacations on the lock screen of your phone. You say this is setup, but say if they really show up.

Orher than this and some serting that myst be set in the ios notifacation center, i dont know, 

It would be helpfull to know what type of phone?

I have a Nexus 6P. I am running the newest version of Android.

When I get a text or email, it shows on my lockscreen on my phone. Is there something more to this?

I have my Pixel 4 set to vibrate, and I get notifications all the time, but only for missed calls and noting else from my phone. 

I have read that a lot of people that have the old versa have the same problem.
