Hello,
My calorie tracker had averaged between 2,500 and 3,000 until recently when it shot up to over 8,000 calories burned per day. Stranger still, it retroactively changed recorded calorie burn going back about 10 days. Has anyone else experienced this or can suggest a fix?
Thanks,
1FB

It's worth checking that your profile settings (height, weight etc) haven't accidentally changed as this would directly impact the calorie calculations

Since you also mentioned your dashboard retroactively changed, you might uninstall any third party syncing exercise/log programs you may have added to your mobile to see if the calorie counts halve once again (in case it was an internet log doubling up - that decond app adding to existing fitbit log rather than comparing)

I have to agree with @wmchapman, @1FB since more than just today changed, it sounds like something in your profile accidentally changed and your BMR is being miscalulated.
Best AnswerYour advice was correct, somehow my weight was displayed as 1,160 lbs. Glad to say I've slimmed down to 160 and problem has been corrected.
