I have used my blaze in my pocket whilst playing sport this morning. It has tracked my steps (13000) but has me at 0 minutes activity and not calculated any additional activity over my BMR.
Is this an error on my device or a fundamental design flaw when not wearing on a wrist ( I am not allowed to wear on wrist)

Hi there @Uffers, welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂
I would like to help you out with this.
Currently with devices that have a heart rate, this will be needed to determine calorie burn, sleep and active minutes. This means that if you have your heart rate set to Off, your tracker will record your steps, distance, etc but will give you only calories burned from your BMR and probably some more from steps but will not be as accurate as if you're wearing it. Also, active minutes rely on heart rate to be determined, so I would say this is the reason why it seems not to be very accurate.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you need more help!
