Calories burned during exercise Active Calories or the Total Calories?

When I start and stop an exercise from the blaze, is the calories burned number the active calories for that exercise  or the Total calories for that time which would include the BMR?

@SunriseGirl Welcome, Fitbit calculations include BMR.
