Calories burnt looks incorrect

I've read the FAQ and understand what BMR is. However, it still looks really strange that 2500 cal when I just woke in the morning, and more than 5000 daily in my rest day without any exercise. Do I need to input or reset anything?

That does sound like a lot. You might want to check your profile settings at https://www.fitbit.com/user/profile/edit , especially things like height and weight as these have a direct impact on your calorie burn calculations.
