The Blaze has several settings for the brightness.

From the Fitbit Article: How do I change the settings on my Blaze?

BRIGHTNESS

By default your screen brightness is set to Auto, meaning the tracker adjusts its brightness level automatically based on ambient lighting conditions. To change the brightness, tap on the Brightness row until you find the setting you prefer (Normal, Dim, and Max).

@Junker you can change brightness by following @SunsetRunner's advice above. 

This is done through the settings menu on the Blaze.
