Can I trade in my Blaze?

So my Blaze was working ok.  I had the usual connection issues to my Pixel2, (yes it was connecting and synching with my pixel2.)

The problem is that I let the battery run out.  Now no matter what I do, I cannot connect or synch it to my pixel 2.  I finally read that the pixel2 is not compatible.  (had no idea) So I attempt to connect the blaze to my windows 10 computer.  I enable bluetooth and it connects. Then I try to install the Filtbit app and get stuck at inserting some dongle.

So now I have a fully charged blaze and cannot even get the correct date and time on it.  I have tried everything.  The only thing left to do is to connect it to a new phone, or call and get a dongle?  I just don't understand what fitbit is doing with the windows app.  The blaze is connected to bluetooth, why does the app require a dongle?

Can I turn in my blaze for another device?

There are no trade in options.

While you may have BT available on your PC, it may not meet Fitbit's requirements. You can buy a dongle here for $6.95.

Also, try plugging in the charger to your USB port to see if you can get a connection.
