I have been trying to connect my note 5 over to the Blaze to get notifications and sync my music. Not having any luck. Can anyone help me? If I can't figure this out, looks like I will be returning this! 😞

I have an ATT Note 5. I'm sure they haven't updated the list yet, but all features work on it. No reason it shouldn't be listed.

A tweak to know is the default messaging app (ATT Messages) will only show a notification of the text message but not the message content. If you download Google Messenger and make it default (and use it), the Blaze will show the notification alert and the text message as well. And, Google Messenger uses less battery.

The phone call notification works...although you can only answer the call with Blaze connected to iPhone.

Calendar notifications work using the default Note 5 Samsung Calendar.

Music app...I don't know. It requires a Classical Bluetooth connect and for me, easier to navigate on the phone anyway. Didn't want to drain more battery.

Syncing with the FB Android app has been flawless. No issues.

Hope this helps.

I don't see the Note 5 on the compatibility list so you may be out of luck.

Can control the music myself, but no push notifications... very disappointed that one of the BEST phones on the market isn't compatible but every other galaxy is. Might be returning this too if not resolved asap

I am also disappointed that it isn't compatible! I am actually returning
mine tomorrow since realizing there's no fix in the near future. I love
every other feature this watch has too! Thank you for responding too!

My note 4 works so I don't see why the note 5 would be an issue

Hey laura715, go to your fitbit app and click on the blaze icon that says sync. It will open up options not otherwise accessible and you can turn on notifications there. There you can enable text and phone pushes, got mine to work. It shows who is calling and who is texting but does not show the message. You can control the music by going to classic Bluetooth setting on your blaze then going into Bluetooth options and choose blaze classic. Here you can control music, however push notifications will be disabled in this mode. Hope this helps, took me an hour and a half to figure this all out. Think I'm going to keep mine, I'm sure they will update it and for now it does enough push notifications to make me happy. Just wish I could control music and and get messages (and preferably be able to read them) at the same time.

I finally got the notifications to work on my Note 5.  I completely uninstalled the fitbit app and the unpaired the Blaze then reinstalled and reconnected the app and the Blaze and they are working for now even though it shows all texts 2 times.  We will see if it lasts.

Thank you, this worked for me too. I had emailed the company a couple days ago regarding this and they were no help.

I realize (now) that the Note 5 is not compatible with the Blaze (which is frankly ridiculous), but all but one feature is working--notifications. I see that some people have got theirs working, and I have read some tips, but I still cannot get notifications to work. I have a USCellular Note 5. Please help!

When I set up the Blaze, I chose Note 4 since Note 5 was not an option. Perhaps there is a better choice that will allow for notifications . . .

I have a Note 5 and I just bought the Blaze last night.  I was about to return it because I could not get the notifications either then I found out it was not compatable.  I went to the Play Store and Downloaded  Fit Notifications and everything is working now.. Caller ID, and texts.. yaaaaa.
