Can't turn Blaze on and off

My Blaze was working fine until a couple of days ago.  I couldn't turn off the light and the battery ran down.  I charged the battery and again the same thing happened.  Now I can't turn it on to check any of the functions either.  It seems to be recording my steps but I can only see it on the app.

Have you done the two button restart yet? Hold in both the back and select buttons.

I pressed the left button and bottom right button .  It tells me I'm all caught up on notifications.  I can't swipe at all.

The "All caught up" message is telling me that only the bottom right button is being pushed. Try pushing in the left button first, or press the buttons while the unit is oitside of its frame.

Your first post is even more confusing.

Title says the unit wont turn on

Post says won't display anything but counts  steps. It has to be turned on to count steps.

It won't display anything but displays "all caught up"

I'm confused as to what is not happening @Vj53?

Rich, sorry if I haven't expressed the problem clearly.  It does display the clock, but swipe doesn't work at all now-- so I can't see the other "pages". Sometimes pushing the left button doesn't turn the clock on.   A couple of times the clock face  was on and wouldn't turn off no matter what I did, so the battery ran down.

That makes more sense, has the retart worked yet?

It sounds like the left button might not be responding and a contract.fitbit.com will be needed.

Nope, can't re-start because swipe doesn't work so I can't get to 'settings".  What is contract.fitbit.com?

Yes, I held the left and bottom right buttons for 10 secs and it restarted and shows the clock.  But I still can't swipe to get the other screens.
