Cant connect and therefore not update firmware on blaze

Hello

Saw today by coincidence  that there was a new update for my blaze, it says my current firmware is v8.301.8.

Tried to update but keeps saying it fails.

Then I noticed it was 3 hours ago it last synced and tried to sync it manually, but that also keeps failing..

This is weird, because it has recent data on steps, hr and so on and earlier today I went for a run where I connected the watch to my phone for GPS without any issues..

Now I have:

Tried to restart both the watch and mobile (Nexus 6P) several times

Reinstalled the fitbit app

Made sure I had the right permissions

Tried connecting to the fitbit windows 10 app.

Charged the watch

Any suggestions? Thanks.

Mine has had the wrong time all day.  I thought it was because I let it die yesterday... I haven't let that happen before.  Tried updating through the app, but it fails.  Sorry I'm no help.

A warm welcome to the Community @Carriexray and @Runenaldo.

I would like to know if you keep having inconveniences updating your trackers? If you do, I recommend restarting them and then try to update them by following these steps from your Fitbit app:

  1. Verify that the latest version of the Fitbit app is installed on your device.
  2. With your charged tracker nearby, open the Fitbit app.
  3. Tap or click the Account icon.
  4. Tap or click your tracker tile.
  5. Tap or click the pink Update Tracker button. You'll only see an option to update your tracker if updates are available.
  6. Follow the prompts onscreen and keep the tracker close to the mobile device during the update. If the update is slow, don't remove your tracker from your account as a troubleshooting measure.

If you are having issues syncing, check the steps in the Having trouble syncing? post.

Let me know the outcome. Woman Happy
