Hello @Sharon_1960, it's good to see you around in the forums for the first time, welcome. Sorry for the late reply.

Thank you for sharing this information about what you've been experiencing with the notifications. Before considering other options, please make sure to check all the necessary requirements and if you already tried all the steps listed here to resolve problems with notifications. As an alternative, you can also try to disable the notifications completely and set them up again following these steps.

Also, be sure to check if the mobile device you're using is listed here as a compatible device with the Fitbit app.

Please keep me posted.

Hi David thank you for the welcome and advise.  I've done what you have asked turned all notifications of I've put them all back on but nothing is coming through. When I had my samsung Galaxy A52017 every thing worked . I've changed my phone to Samsung Galaxy A 50 I've looked to see if my phone is aplicable and it's not showing. I have had notifications through but no text message what I really need.thanks for your advice kind regards sharon

Hello @Sharon_1960, thank you for your reply and for sharing this information.

The full list of compatible devices with confirmed compatibility can be found here. Unfortunately I've confirmed the models Samsung Galaxy A5 and the A50 aren't listed as compatible device at the moment.

If a device isn’t listed it doesn’t mean it won’t work with a Fitbit tracker or smartwatch. We routinely test new devices to ensure full compatibility with Fitbit devices and the Fitbit App, and are constantly working to confirm compatibility with new phone models. A majority of Android phones running version 4.4 or higher will work with our products, but we cannot guarantee optimal performance on devices for which we have not tested and confirmed compatibility.

However, some users have been able to receive notifications after following the steps listed in this article: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone

Unfortunately we haven't received any updates to be able to know when more devices will be included in the list of compatibility. I hope too that other phone models can be included in the near future.

Let me know if you have further questions.
