Challenge steps are always alot more than dashboard steps

I'm using the Blaze and drive a lot for my job. At first I noticed that my dashboard had an excessive amount of steps. 11000+ in one day driving. I started manually logging driving as an exercise as I read the steps won't be counted during the driving time. That seemed to fix my dashboard (around 5000-7000 steps) but any challenges I enter still seem to have an excessive amount-30,000+ steps. I'm not walking 30,000 steps. I have it set on auto sync, if I turn that off and manually sync it after my drive will that adjust the correct steps in future challenges to match my dashboard?

@@WendyB Thank you for your response. I installed DriveBit and still have the same issue. It does delete the extra steps from my dashboard but they still get sent to the challenges. I had thought about turning off the Bluetooth also but was hoping for a better way since I would be turning it off and on several times a days as I drive. I tried the manual sync while using the DriveBit app and still got the same results. Hopefully there is a fix for this. It’s really not a big thing as my dashboard is correct but with the extra on challenges kinda makes me feel like I’m cheating.

No it wont because it will still see the steps and sync them all. Once it goes to the challenge there is no way that it will adjust.

Have you tried Drivebit? Its an app that you can get for your phone and it deletes the steps for you. If you delete the driving steps before it syncs it should help with the problem of it going to Challenges

Just dont open the app until DriveBit deletes them.

Might even help if you turn Bluetooth off so it doesn't sync until you can delete the steps. Then turn it back on when you want to sync
