I've been reading the blogs here and on Amazon about the darn charger not working. I've been trying correctly to charge it for two days using various plugs and even my PC. The connections are in place! When it arrived it had a small charge enough to sync up but no success with the provided charger. This blogs say people have to wait online a long time for Customer service so that is not an option for me to get it swapped out. Then I'm reading that it won't hold a charge very long even after 3 months (on amazon reviews). I'm wondering if the black friday sale discount price was to move older products because as we all know batteries do stop being effective after a certain time frame. I'm doing my last ditch attempt to try charging this from my mac (fully charged) and then I'm returning it.

I was using the rapid charger that my samsung s6 came with and It didn't work. When I used a plain older usb charger my device started to charge. I'm sure others are doing the same thing. The instructions say not to use a hub which I wasn't but didn't think the rapid chargers would not work. Hope this helps others who are struggling. I'm going to test my Blaze out with various workouts and will see if it holds a charge for a few days with minimal notifications. I'll post back here.

It is very possible that the charging cord is defective @DoryTraveler.and contacting fitbit would be a good potion.
I would also try charging through a phone charger, unless you know your mac really putteputs or the 500ma out is suppose to.
As for customer support, link found in top right of this page - click the question mark, people are reporting what the automated response, based on current load, and not the actual response time. They have email, online chat, phone, twitter, amd i also have seen help through Facebook.
As for the battery dieing after 3 months, i received my tracker 3 weeks before Fitbit started shipping them and I've only had it for 3 months. i charged it last Monday, it's now Saturday and the battery life says medium.

It sounds like the charger is faulty. I would contact support and get an exchange
