Charging for the first time.

Trying to charge my new fitbit blaze but no battery icon is showing and cannot wake it up any ideas.alrrady taken one back and this one is the same.

I set mine up yesterday and thought this was a problem too but it wasn't, the battery icon showed after a short while about 30mins, once it was on it then needed about another hour to fully charge, I could then complete the update and set up. I found it worked better when plugging the USB cable into a plug socket adaptor like the one for my iPhone rather than trying to power from my laptop

The battery icon will not show until the Blaze is completely setup, until then the tracket should display the logo and http://www.fitbit.com 

When plugging it in there should be a slight vibration to tell you that it is charging, which should slso turn it on. Is this whay yoi see snd feel @Tjbcat

Yes this is what happened with mine, and mine is all set up and sorted, I think the set up guide on the app is just a bit misleading as the photo of what you should see when charging for the first time is not the same as what you really see so it confuses you at first as you are not sure if it is charging properly or not!
