My brand new just-out-of-the-box Blaze does not seem to be charging. I've had it in the dongle for an hour now and there is no battery indicator. Oddly enough, my Blaze is showing on my Fitbit account, but with no battery life. Apparently there was just enough life when I first started to get it attached to my account, but now there is ZERO battery, and the thing has been charging through my laptop USB for an hour. I know it's supposed to take two hours to fully charge, but shouldn't I be seeing some kind of indication there's some kind of charge taking place?

@beinghuman if your Blaze is just out of the box, with the fitbit.com/setup message then NO you will not see an icon. But the app won't tell you either.
If it vibrates when plugging in it is charging

Is in the charger upside down?

After much desperation and two phone calls to support (who was very helpful, even if it didn't resolve my issue in the moment. Fitbit is sending a new charger because the one that came with the pebble doesn't seem to work), I decided to uninstall everything I had done and reboot it all.
I uninstalled Fitbit from my smartphone, charged up my phone (which was one of the primary issues, but I was fortunate to have two different chargers on hand; one of them, a docking station, worked.) Imagine my relief when I actually saw the battery life showing up on my account! So after battery life appeared, I reinstalled the Fitbit app on my phone, and the pebble came to life! It was finally able to update and now the thing is working!
If you're not getting anything, I suggest you contact support. The charger that came with my Blaze wouldn't charge it; however, I received the Blaze as a gift and the person who gave it to me was kind enough to include a docking station in addition to the Blaze. After I figured out how the docking station worked (no instructions, but once I looked at a picture of it on Amazon, it was pretty easy to figure out...), the Blaze began updating and it has been working ever since. I'm going to keep an eye on it to make sure it's holding a charge for the next couple days, and I am looking forward to getting a new charger from Fitbit to have in addition to my docking station.
The lovely person I spoke to at Fitbit said it would take two business days.
Good luck!

I could feel the Blaze "working," but I kept getting the fitbit.com/setup url on the homescreen of the pebble (I found out today that the device thing is called a "pebble.")
So, as I explained in the other reply on this thread, I decided to do a reboot of the whole thing. It's working now! Thanks for your response, because it got me thinking of other ways I could solve this....I was in a spiraling, fun-house mirrors, no end in sight kind of situation it seemed! 🙂
