@JumpStarter Glad you're considering the Blaze!
I'd recommend taking a look at your version of the warranty. Last I heard, Amazon was our sole retailer in India, so I'd see if you could purchase through them. We'll be making our way from a US release to the eastern hemisphere, so I think a few of your warranty questions may be answered as the Blaze makes its way over. But again, I'd recommend checking in with Amazon India

Hi,
I have the same query. I am planning to purchase Blaze from US. In case of any issues with the product, willl the customer service in India (Mumbai) be able to help me?

I don't know what Fitbit's policy is on this, or what the rules in the US say, but I do know that in the UK the legislation says that it is the seller's responsibilty to deal with warranty issues on behalf of the manufacturer. So, for instance, if you purchase from Amazon UK, and you have a problem with your Fitbit, you would contact Amazon UK. It seems that is also what the OP was told by Amazon.

AFAIK, Fitbit Support replied to me that they do honor International Warranty; provided that you have a receipt of the original purchase. That is, you can get any tracker in US/UK or wherever it might be; if you contact Fitbit India's support, they will service your needs.
Checked for the original tweet by them, but unable to find it. I am sure that they said this though.
