Anyone know why my fitbit blaze says I've been burning calories while I'm asleep and I wasn't even wearing it. It is sitting on the night stand next to my bed but app says I've burned about 580 calories - Why, How is this possible?

Hi, @ellimei, your body burns calories all the time just runningthe processes that keep you alive.  These are called BMR calories -- in fact, for most people, BMR calories account for the majority of the calories they burn in a day.  Fitbit calculates your BMR calories using the information you entered when you set up your account: gender, age, height, weight.  These calories will be counted whether you wear your Fitbit or not.

If you wear it, you will, of course, get calorie "credit" for all the activities your Blaze detects.
