Counting steps when not using Blaze

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have the fitbit blaze but sometimes for work I do not wear it but have my phone on me where i have the app. Is there a way to get my steps counted on my phone app or does it always have to be through the blaze when that is the main device?  Or is there a way that it will recognised that once synced that there are steps done on one device and not the other so wont be double counting.

Hope that makes sense, just hate when it makes me look like i have done no steps in a day but its just me not wearing it that day.

Thanks for any help given.

go to your device settings, press the plus to add mobile track. You'll find it at the bottom

Which phone do you have, I'm on Android, with 4 trackers attached to my account and it still is letting me attach mobile track.

@brocke It's great to have you here! Not all Android devices are capable to have MobileTrack. So, I would recommend to check supported devices look for your mobile device, check compatibility and see if your tracker has the option to have MobileTrack.

In case your device is supported, please follow this procedure: log into the app and go to the Account screen. Choose the option for setting up a new device and follow the MobileTrack instructions.

@Rich_Laue Thank you for your input Robot Happy

Hope this helps.

@brocke I would like you to unpaired BVlaze and set up MobileTrack as the first tracker, and then pair Blaze.

- Go to your app > tap on the menu icon and choose devices > choose Blaze and in the upper right corner you'll see a trash icon > tap on it and Blaze should be disconnected.

Once you've done this > tap on set up a new Fitbit device and choose MobileTrack.

After this, set up Blaze again.

Hope this helps.
