While on my elliptical wearing my Fitbit Blaze when I reach 2500 steps ( I checked my elliptical and it’s exact) my Blaze is at 2000 so I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen?

It will never match. Elliptical is not step based for one. And your stride is different than normal walking.

 

You can add manual steps if you want. Go to the exercise page and at the bottom left side use the walking Icon or search for walk. Then add.

 

But beware manually added steps do not go towards Challenges or badges.

 

I myself just go with what fitbit says.
