Create a Fitbit retrofit Program to replace the batteries in the older Blaze devices

I purchased Fitbit Blaze a few years ago and after 18 months the unit would not hold a charge very long.   I have to leave it charging all week for 2 - 3 hours of battery life.

I purchased the Fitbit Versa Lite in December and the device started irritating my skin after a few days of wearing, so I would switch it from arm to arm throughout the day.

After the irritation from Versa progressed to arm pain, I quit wearing the device for a week.  After the arm pain subsided, I started using Versa again and the arm pain started up again and would follow when I switched the device to an opposite arm.  I never had these issues with my Blaze and would love to be able to use it.  I reset the Versa Lite back to factory settings so that I can let a friend have it.  I also have an older slim fitbit that I quit using when I got Blaze.

Fitbits are expensive and owners should be able to have the batteries replaced when the warranties expire without going through the unguaranteed results listed within the Warranty section.

Please have someone look into a better program to replace the batteries for customers that have purchased these expensive devices.

After reading the warranty polices today regarding sending in devices for repairs, I will look into a different brand of health tracker.  I will start by reviewing the warranty and repair programs before purchasing.

@SFV_2020   There are many other users who share your opinion about battery replacement.  Sadly, I don't think Fitbit has any plans to offer this feature.
