I cycled April 10th 23km with a lot of hills and sweat and my Fitbit blaze only documented 1500 steps. So when I am doing challenges with other Fitbit people I can't record properly

This is a tricky one. The fitbit challenges are all step based and when you cycle you don't take steps. You'll get some steps tracked through random movement of your tracker but there isn't really a link between the distance cycled and the steps you get. Some people wear the fitbit on their ankle to try and get more steps but the bottom line is that cycling doesn't count in challenges.

A warm welcome to the Forums @DanetteLynn and @SteveH thanks for stopping by.
As mentioned by our friend here @SteveH, when you are biking you are not exactly doing steps. Activities like walk and run can provide you steps. Maybe putting the tracker in the ankle might work but in this case if you want to make steps for challenges, you can go for a run, or doing half and half. Half of you routine might be cycling and the other half running.
Catch you later. ![]()
