Hi everyone. I got this Fitbit Blaze because it tracks cycling. The bad part is that it won't put that information on the dashboard. So to look at my dashboard I haven't done much of anything when in reality I've ridden my bike 37 miles. Does anyone know how to get that information to go onto the dashboard?

A warm welcome to the Forums @CycleLady. Can you please tell me how are you logging this activity? Are you selecting it directly from the tracker or letting SmartTrack do it for you. In this case, if you are using SmartTrack, it should be on your Dashboard automatically, I recommend performing a force sync by doing the following from your Fitbit app:
1. Tap the Blaze icon
2. Tap Force Sync
In the meantime, keep in mind that you can manually log your cycling exercise by doing the following from your app:
1. Tap the "+" icon
2. Tap Track Exercise
3. Enter your information
4. Tap Log it
5. Sync
I hope this helps, let me know the outcome.

Distance on the Dashboard only includes:
- estimated distance from step tracking (steps * stride)
- estimated distance from SmartTrack walks and runs (steps * stride)
- miles from putting Blaze into exercise mode and using Connected GPS to track walks and runs
The truth is that tracking of cycling is poorly implemented by Fitbit. Despite being offered for 2+ years, since the launch of Surge, cycling mileage does not appear on the Dashboard. And there is no lifetime tracking of cycling mileage. All you can do is look for a ride in your Activity History and review it. Unfortunately the Activity History feature has never evolved since I bought my first Fitbit in June 2013 - its terrible if you want to go back and search for a previously tracked workout from last month or 6 months ago or several years ago. The Fitbit Dashboard is optimized to show you steps, estimated calories, and estimated stepping miles, along with quickly pulling up 1week/1month/3month/1year charts. Its really just designed to look at the most basic of trends. I guess for some its just fine. It is simple and easy to use, but doesn't really support helping you get ready for a big ride or run.
Personally I think you are better off using Strava app to track cycling, for social and feature reasons, and if you want to see something in Fitbit then setup the sync feature to let Strava create a manual Fitbit workout (without map or heart rate). Your Blaze will still record HR during ride and you can view it in Dashboard. The downside of that approach? You won't have HR linked to ride unless you have a Bluetooth HRM connected to Strava app. If you want Blaze to provide HR and linked to the ride data, then record using Blaze's Connected GPS feature and setup sync to Strava - that will get more data in both Blaze and Strava although I've seen weird things in Fitbit Dashboard when recording with Blaze.
Hope that helps.
