The same thing happened to me. I'm typically around 20k per day. Today a second daily average was on my display. It shows "Averages 20,043 steps per day" and under that it shows "?? Averages 12,345 Steps per Day"

@DaveB13Click on the Camera /Photos when posting once there choose Upload photo and select form your computer. Once there click done

I don't have the issue but my Location is in the 1st line. I tried to make that private on the Android but the privacy setting won't hold and on the PC Dashboard it has the padlock. I have synced etc. If Location is private that could be the issue...
Location still displays on my posts on the PC and the Android. I believe that could be the issue and if a Fitbitter were to make Location Global for a test in their settings. If they had the same image as me it would help the engineers fix the problem.
I already have a case for other privacy issues when set as Global they do not show. They are Birthday, Height and Weight. Age used to show when you had birthday set.

I was checking the iOS board and someone else was having the same issue. You may want to try this troubleshooting to resolve the issue you're having while viewing your profile in the app.
