Hi all, bought the blaze after looking online for a tracker and bought it from argos about 1 hour ago!.
Unboxed it and plugged in the USB in pc and sat the device in the cradle and setup the app, all fine, entered the numbers and was working!.
Problems now!, when sat in the cradle and trying to change the clock face when sync says
Tracker needs setup, we're having trouble syncing your tracker, set it up again to your account,
I have reset it and removed it and all it does is the same thing!!!!,
also it will not update, any ideas befoe I return it?
P.S using a Windows 10 PC USB cable

Hello,
Tried different USB, uninstall, reinstalling blah blah and its the same!,
First time i did try and connect and set it up, it did update, but then prompted for a 2nd update?, also still not syncing.
I do have a bluetooth dongle but no luck with that.
I am trying a windows 7 laptop now, I would of used in iPhone but its in for repair!!!

Still wont connect with windows 7, in the old app, says please connect wireless dongle (its connected and installed ), but it does say in yellow bar (wireless dongle disconnected) I have tried 2 different pcs, 2 different apps and same issue.
Issue with device or dongle or just windows?

Hi,
Do you have a smart phone with bluetooth? I would try that. The USB is typically a backup method of initial setup for people who have funky phones.
Ive had several fitbits and have not had issues over bluetooth on iphones. Let me know if you have tried that yet.

Hi,
I did manage to test it out on my fathers S4 and worked and change the clock and sync etc.
One problem tho that my watch is showing that I have already burn over 1700 calories for each date going as far back as march? is this used or just a problem?

You burn calories for just being alive- even if you literally dont move anywhere all day.
1700 is what you burn- any steps or excercise is an additional calorie burn.
So I take it you dont have a phone to consistently sync it to?

but I only bought this device today? or is 1700 just standard burn for one day "without" moving etc.
At the moment no!, hopefully should have my iPhone back in a few days, bit of a nightmare really lol.
Thanks
Adam

Hello @Adamsnake welcome to the Fitbit Community! 🙂 I'm glad to hear you where able to set up and sync your Blaze. The calorie burn you see on your tracker is your BMR, you can find more information about this here. @MikeIT and @Rich_Laue thanks for your cooperation!
Catch you later!
