Device showing blockage during physical activity.

Good evening! I am very concerned about the analysis of the bad behavior that my Fitbit Blaze has been having. I will try to go through a more detailed report on what is happening.

During the week I let the battery go off. I simply put it to charge after the device shut down completely. I made a full load on it. On Friday, shortly before the training, I synchronized with my Galaxy S7 and did not synchronize in any way. He always gave the message "phone not found". After 6 attempts, the device has been locked. As always: Turn everything off and start with the Fitbit logo. After that, on the first attempt he synchronized and recorded the entire workout.

On Saturday at training time, he synchronized with the phone on the first attempt and recorded a 12-kilometer workout with no problem. The same day, the battery was over and I put it to charge.

On Sunday, before a race, again did not synchronize with the phone. After 5 attempts, the device has been locked. He returned to normal, connected on the first try and recorded the entire race. What I noticed is that it hangs, or the problem, in the first workout after the battery charge. And also it only gives this problem when I need to synchronize with the phone, since I tried the other features that do not need the use of the phone and everything is normal.

I think Fitbit can now help me fix a solution without having to buy a new device.

Thank you.

Hi there @antenorroberto. Great to see you in the Community Forums and I'm sorry you're having problems with your tracker not syncing correctly sometimes.

Out of the things you mention that you've already tried, there's one that you didn't mention and I can probably suggest. It's setting up your tracker as a new device. For this, go to the Account section at the top right corner on the Fitbit app and select the option that says "Set up a new device". Follow the on-screen instructions and once you're done, your tracker should be syncing without a problem.

Try that out and see if you notice any improvement with this. Let me know if you need more help!

Hello, @FerdinandFitbit. My problem is not the synchronization, but the locking of the device during the activity. Blaze crashes and stops logging to activity. It does as if I'm rebooting.

You mention something anout the battery goes off. Do you wait until the tracker stops working before you charge it?

You want to charge it long before this happens. If the battery has gone dead, there is always a chsnce tyat the trscker did not start up correctly and will a restart.

@Rich_Laue e @FerdinandFitbitNo, the problem is not the battery.

I will explain everything again: on August 13th, during my first half marathon, the device worked very well until the 20 kilometer. When I arrived in the 20 km, the clock simply stopped and started alone. Detail: he had the battery charged. After that it has been common for him to brake and restart in the middle of my workouts and races. So, I can not mark anything else accurately, because in the middle of the activity it resolves to stop working. Today, in my morning training, he stopped in the second kilometer.
