Device tracks sleep when on the charger

I'm guessing this would involve a software update to fix.

My Blaze is great but I'm baffled why it tracks time spent on your proprietary charger as me being asleep.

I get that the charger is perfectly still and that's probably what the device uses to determine when to track sleep. Some simple logic would be that if device thinks I'm sleeping BUT it's accepting charge THEN I'm not sleeping, but charging.

Hey @Darkstar72. I'm glad to see you in the Community! 🙂

You're totally right. Your Fitbit Blaze has the Sleep Autodetection feature. Autodetection is based on your movement. When you haven’t moved in over an hour, algorithms assume that sleep has begun.

Now, as you say it, while your tracker is charging, it should not record that time as sleep time. I've not had any problem with mine while charging so I can recommend restarting the tracker by following these instructions and the next time you put your tracker to charge see if it makes any difference.

Let me know how it goes!
