Hey @LDuffin26! Welcome to the Community Forums! 😄

As @bb-8 says, it's about the materials. The Fitbit Blaze classic band is made of a flexible, durable elastomer material similar to that used in many sports watches, and includes a surgical-grade stainless steel buckle and frame. The gunmetal Blaze features a gunmetal stainless steel buckle and frame made with a premium PVD plating process. Now, the pink/gold Blaze features a 22k gold-plated stainless steel buckle and frame also made with a premium PVD plating process.

Hope you find this information helpful and anything else, let me know!

Will the bands for the Classic Fitbit Blaze fit the Special Edition??? I bought an extra band online for my daughter and the frame is not aligned with the buttons.

Hello @Pebbles15 the only difference is in the color. Generally the band does not come with a frame, so I'm not sure how the buttons factor in. Is the band a qenuine Fitbit band or a third psrty

Are the sensors the same for the special edition blaze and the original blaze? So in other words can I use the sensor that came with my original blaze in the special edition band and vise versa ?

Hi @McDonald__8281, welcome to the Community Forums!

What exactly do you refer to when you talk about the sensors? If you're talking about the detachable module which is the display, it should be the same size. Basically, everything is the same and should fit amongst each other piece.

I bought my daughter an "off-market" band which comes attached to the frame, but the buttons (sensors) are off. They do fit the classic blaze though.

This is what I bought: https://www.amazon.com/Accessory-5-5-6-7-Oitom-Milanese-Stailess/dp/B01EHH04IO/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qi...

Yes, the detachable screen, I wasn’t sure what it was called. I had ordered the special edition blaze a few days ago but was curious as If the detachable screen would work with my older blaze band

Got it @McDonald__8281! Yes, as long as it's Fitbit official products, you should be able to mix them together without a problem!

Yes any accessories You buy for a Blaze should fit no matter where you buy them from. I bought noodles of bands so I could have different choices depending on my outfit for the day. None were OEM. Some were metal, rubber, or patterned. I ended up buying a bunch of metal faces in different colors as well so I could just pop the watch in the band I wanted it didn't have to stop and deal with the pens every time.
