Greetings All,
I have been having some issues with the overall distance that is reported when I finish a run / walk when I start it from the Blaze. When I start the same run / walk from the Mobile app on the phone, the distance is exact, or very close to it. Any suggestions that I may try to get the distance to be more accurate when I use the Blaze? The GPS generated map shows up as the same for both execises but a diffence mileage. The Fitbit help desk says a it is expected to have a 4% inaccuracy, but I confused as it is only wrong when I initiate the exercise from the Blaze (18% inaccuracy).

A warm welcome to the Community @PCPer! Your Blaze will track distance by multiplying your walking steps by your walking stride length and multiplying your running steps by your running stride length. It also estimate your stride lengths using your height and gender.
Note that when you're tracking an activity with GPS, Fitbit calculates your distance using GPS data rather than steps. If you begin moving before you get a GPS signal, the tracker will calculate distance using steps and stride length as described above until a GPS signal is found.
The distance you'll get, it's going to be different as Blaze will calculate it based in your stride length and GPS will use other algorithms.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
