I have been finding that my Blaze is inflating the distance of my runs.
It is about .5km from the 2.5km mark.
I am paired to a new iphone 8 and also use BioConnected headphones paired to the same device and the distance discrepancy above is constant. Even just using Blaze and running ParkRun. Blaze comes up at about 5.5km for a 5.0km course.
So i strongly believe the blaze is calculating distances wrongly.
Is there fix for this?
Have others experienced the same?
Okay it makes my times look great !! 🙂 But i would rather see real results.

Hey there @catlingsmith , welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums!
I'm sorry to hear that the distance coming from your Blaze is not completely accurate. I'd like to help you out with this.
Whenever you're doing a walk, a run or a hike, it's better if you use the connected GPS feature instead of just letting your tracker calculate your distance. GPS data will be more reliable.
For this, make sure that when you launch your activity from the exercise shortcuts on your tracker, it says that it successfully connected to the GPS on your phone. Once it says that it was able to establish a connection, go on with your activity and compare at the end how accurate it seems to have been.

Hi FerdinandFitbit,
Thanks for the welcome.
Good suggestion but I always wait for it to connect and then start tracking.
I am on my second iphone with this blaze so its not the GPS (and BioConnected tracking is okay).
What else have you got?
Version number 17.8.402.1.
Model FB502
Thanks
Ian
