Do not swim with your fitbit blaze

I was used to seeing  people swim with there blaze and taught it was ok... bad mistake just bought one only had it for two week and decided to go for a swim in the pool, I even dried it when I came out only for the next day I saw water in hrs monitor and a blank screen

If you read the specs on it it is not water proof.

 

Sweat proof only. So no its not meant for swimming

Sorry to hear that! Perhaps they didn't have a Blaze, but rather the Ionic, which looks similar? In either case, the only two trackers which are waterproof are the Flex and Ionic. All others are water resistant, which means they are resistant to sweat, rain, and the occasional water spill. However, they cannot be submerged in water. 

 

You maybe able to see if it will work once it completely dries out, but there are no guarantees. If all else fails, perhaps you could ask for the Ionic as a Christmas present?
