I have read a lot on what is featured in the new update and I'm excited but do we have an official release date yet?

If you have been reading then you will know that the moderators will keep us updated and that fitbit does not release, or maybe doesn't even know date themselves of when it will be released.

Yeah our software guys do that as well. They say september, we assume the 1st and they mean the 30th ! Still at least they are still adding features (for now).

The good news is Fitbit specificied both the month and year, so we know its coming this Sept 2016 and not a future September 😉

Thanks, Angela.
Much appreciated.
Bring.
It.
On.
I think it's fair to say there's unprecedented interest in this update.
So many requests, some complaints, high expectations

I used the Fitbit Chat support mode, due to my severely impaired hearing, to inquire about the release of Blaze firmware v. 8.310.4 and was told it will probably be released the week of Sept. 12. However, the support person may have erroneous informaiton. What else is new? 🙂
Afterall, it's just an update. Life goes on. I'd trade getting back my hearing for tens of thousands of Blazes. "Patience is a virtue." Eventually, it will be released--and then we'll be hankering for something else! "Be careful what we wish for. We may get it.!

Just updated my blaze this morning, but the app didn't show any significant changes: no new watch faces, hourly reminders, etc... What's up!?

The back-end support for watch faces for some users who received the update earlier than planned hasn't come through yet, other than that there's no change to the app since this was a tracker update. Reminders to move are part of the tracker software.
there are separate threads on both topics if you wish to take a look.

@Demitry, you can see the status in the sticky at the top of the forum. The moderators are updating in the first post of that thread with the date. They have only released the update to 5% of the fitbit Blazes so far and are fixing the issues that came in the first wave. Once that is done, they will release the remainder of the updates.
