Hi, @Joylyn126! I've got a Blaze and I've been pretty happy with it. I have the polymer band from Fitbit and bought an aftermarket metal band that I can switch out. I enjoy the heart rate and altimeter features, although do note that the stairs don't impact your calorie burn, they're only there for badges and entertainment. I upgraded from a Flex and I've noticed that the Blaze registers less steps than the Flex, although when counting and checking the count, it seems pretty reasonable. The screen durability seems good so far. The battery seems to last about 6 days when I run it down completely, although I don't use alarms and rarely use the connected GPS, which I would think are the biggest battery sinks. The biggest complaint I have with it is that it can get a bit grimy. The elastic band needs to be cleaned regularly and the way the frame is made makes grunge easy to accumulate on the edges of the physical tracker. The screen also holds oil from your fingers, much like a cell phone screen (same material). Also, for people with smaller arms, it does look a bit large in comparison, but I knew what I was getting into with that. The only real issue with that is that sometimes at night, the green light from the heart rate monitor is visible, which can be annoying. There are a handful of other minor annoyances that I think will be worked out in future firmware updates, but no deal breakers.

Do you have a Fitbit or any experience witht their products? If so, you will love it, the same little bugs pop up once in a while like syncing, but overall i LOVE the Blaze. The best part is honestly the ability to interchange bands. The Fitbit sold bands are $99 for leather and $$129 for stainless, but there are dozens of sellers on Amazon where you can get third-party frames and bands that give you great veratility with the style.

Any problems with the tracker falling out of the band? I work a pretty physical industrial setting job and I've ruined two Charges now (the band peels away from the main part) from my sleeves (I'm assuming). I'm worried the Blaze might get knocked around and fall off.
None at all, it cann only fall/pop out from the underside. I am pretty rough with mine on and have not had any removal from the frame. The steel mesh, malinese loop is what I wear most of the time at work, but I sleep in the standard band. Just having these bands to switch to make it worth the switch.

Hello @Joylyn126, hope you are having a great day! The Blaze would be a great upgrade the display is a touch screen with color LCD and the removable wristbands will give you a lot of options. For more details about the Blaze you can review the product manual. @robguitar, @racertempo and @Nolander thanks for your cooperation! @Kfillips the tracker fits really good on the frame and you shoudn't experience any issue while wearing it.
Thanks for stopping by! 🙂

I love it, but I don't like having to take it apart to charge it and worry about deforming the frame over time.
Can we buy new bands/frames ?

Yes, through fitbit or other vendors. Metal will not break down over the lifetime that you own the watch unless you dseriously damage it. Popping a plastic unit in and out will not hurt that frame one bit.

It took a few attempts to connect with my iPhone 6S but after that it has worked perfectly.

Hello @Joylyn126, @J-flex, @Corvettekid, @Fosse66, @racertempo and @robguitar! It's great to have you here! As mentioned by @racertempo you can purchase replacement bands or frames, this is one of the reasons I love my Blaze
Happy stepping! 🙂

there is an edge to the top and bottom of the Blaze that CAN get chipped--as many have reported. I have seen some 3rd party bands on Amazon that seem to encase the blaze in a silicon fitting that is part of the band..this seems very protective of the edges--but i have only seen pictures.
I do love the Blaze, once i got it set up to receive the texts/calls--the alarm is very faint--i hope that this is corrected, because i can completely miss them. I am looking forward to other little changes that are mostly asthetic. (clock face). i have purchased 3(amazon vendor) additional melanese mesh bands and 2 3rd party frames so switching is easy and it is very attractive, also 3rd parties are making/selling different color frames than the standard brushed gray.
my biggest worry is that instead of upgrading the Blaze--they will introduce the BLAZE-2 which would be an addtional expense--but this is just my perception. Customer service has always been very helpful and actually replaced 3 other fittys i had (One model) as they randomly pooped out. i appreciate that you do not have to jump through hoops if it is not fixable.

I think it is a decent fitness watch and believe its aesthetic appeal is really what makes it a 4 star watch instead of a 3. The customization of it is so nice and appealing, and that has really stopped me from going elsewhere. Also, there are so many fitbit members; it's fun to compete with everyone.

Yes and yes. I see anywhere from 10-50 Fitbits in my office/downtown area on a daily basis. I see 5-10 "others" on a daily basis. The commentions are so fun to compete with and I also agree that the interchangeable band is what make the Blaze worth the money, although it then requires spending more money on bands 🙂
